I mean fucking hell, but how fucking good are these lyrics, how fucking excellent are the songs. I'm addicted! I feel so excited about the new album, not down to hope like it was last time, but knowing i've heard some excellent songs that are going to be on it.

Listen to the bass, listen to the guitar, the melody and lyrics and the drums....they are really on form! Its like they've explored a direction on the last three albums that didn't really work or hold true to what the band is about for some people.

Now its time, R.E.M. have returned and in my mind are picking up from where Hi-Fi left off!
